Klimt was a founder member of the Secession and the Wiener Werkstatte, as well as a key figure in international Art Nouveau and a blueprint for the decadent artist. Along with his great contemporaries - Egon Schiele, Josef Hoffman, Koloman Moser and Josef Maria Olbrich - Klimt changed the contemporary art world in a way which still resounds, moves and inspires
