A talk and reading from the Masnawi of Jalaldin Rumi a spiritual masterpiece of the Persian Sufi tradition with profeesor Alan Williams from his own translation.
There will be a short talk followed by readings from the poetry of the Masnawi with audience reflections and discussion. In the Masnawi Rumi draws on a vast range of sources, from fables to stories from daily life and religious tradition,to compose a remarkable text, which is a ladder to the spiritual world.
