Coronavirus situation update

Our lecture organisers may or may not have had time to update their events with cancellation notices. Clearly social gatherings are to be avoided and that includes lectures. STAY AT HOME FOLKS, PLEASE.

The Cognitive lunchbox

Join us for the first of our Chemical Lunchboxes in 2012. Dr Jeremy Spencer examines the role of flavonoid-rich foods.

On this special Valentine’s Day lunchbox, Dr Jeremy Spencer from the University of Reading will examine the role of flavonoid-rich food, such as blueberries, cocoa and red wine, which have been shown
to promote a healthy heart and enhance our attention span. He will outline the evidence for the value of these foods and the ways in
which they induce such beneficial changes in our bodies. Lunch is included as part of the talk.
