The Drama for Fools

Didier Plassard will speak about the new bilingual edition of Edward Gordon Craig’s 50 Plays for Puppets - most published for the first time.

Didier Plassard is the author of the influential anthology on puppetry ‘Les mains de lumiere’ (1996) and teaches at the Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier. He will speak about his new book ‘Le théâtre des fous’, a bilingual edition of Edward Gordon Craig’s 50 Plays for Puppets (Editions l’Entretemps, 2012). This is an essential book for puppeteers and students of theatre. The lecture will be in English and will be followed by a Q&A and drinks reception.
