Antarctica: Musical Images of the Frozen Continent

Join composer Craig Vear for the première of Antarctica: Musical Images of a Frozen Continent.

Craig spent three months in Antarctica recording a unique sound library of its wildlife and environment, and a further six months creating a sensory interpretation of the last great wilderness.

Craig Vear in Antarctica

The electro-acoustic piece is realised in 5.1-surround sound and will take you into the sonic realms of this harsh yet beautiful continent. The piece will be followed by a discussion with Craig about his experiences in Antarctica.
