Talk ::: Adopting a Spiritual Posture - For Dealing With Life's Pain in the Neck

Adopting a Spiritual Posture (Talk) Joy Rendell Friday 15 March 7.30pm to 9.00pm
Suppressing and repressing feelings is OK when it comes to ‘keeping the peace’, but in the end all it’s ever really likely to do is end up in a big blow up, or, worse, you’ll eventually get sick! A better way is to act from that deep spiritual place right at the centre of the self. The place that is always peaceful, always powerful. All you have to do now is rediscover it…
Joy Rendell is an occupational therapist by profession with a deep interest in the mind-body connection. She’s a volunteer with the Janki Foundation, a charity which is dedicated to whole-person healthcare. Joy has been exploring Non-Violent Communication concepts for 4 years and following the path of Raja Yoga meditation for 30 years.
