Clare Twomey in conversation with John Kampfner

Artist Clare Twomey in conversation with author and broadcaster John Kampfner

Exchange explores ideas around charity, responsibility and trust, examining the powerful role that individuals and good deeds can play within our communities. It is a special commission by the Foundling Museum for artist Clare Twomey.

Clare Twomey

British ceramic artist Clare Twomey has previously created site-specific work for the V&A, the Royal Academy, the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, and nearby Great Ormond Street Hospital. Within these works Twomey has maintained her concerns with materials, craft practice and historic and social context. Twomey specialises in the medium of clay, producing large-scale installations, sculpture and site-specific artwork which challenge the boundaries of ceramic practice. She is also a research fellow at the University of Westminster.

John Kampfner
