Ten Years on the Front Line

Marking the Frontline Club’s tenth anniversary, we will be joined by a panel of journalists to look back on ten years on the front line.

This year the Frontline Club is ten and to mark the occasion this summer we will be joined by a panel of journalists to look back on ten years on the front line.

From Iraq to Afghanistan, Libya to Syria, our panel of journalists will be reflecting on the front lines they have reported from and discussing how they have marked the past decade. They will be sharing the stories they covered and the ones that remained unreported.

Chaired by Channel 4 News presenter Jon Snow.

The panel:

Paul Wood is the world affairs correspondent for the BBC. He was previously the BBC defence and Middle East correspondent.

Ghaith Abdul-Ahad is an Iraqi journalist and photojournalist. He has written for the Guardian and The Washington Post, and published photographs in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, the Guardian and The Times.

Lindsey Hilsum is international editor at Channel 4 News and author of Sandstorm, Libya in the Time of Revolution.

Additional speaker to be confirmed.
