Paganism in Fairy Tales

How Pagan themes have been touched on by fary tales

Joanna Coleman (Chichester)

Tonight’s speaker leads us into the world of the animal companion in fairy tales, the communication with the non-human, and the implications for world-views, embedded (covert?) polytheism and paganism. Joanna Coleman is pursuing a doctorate in English literature at the University of Chichester. She brings an enthusiasm and sensitivity to the subject. If you love the uncanny, dark and otherworldly in fairytales, this night is for you. More information coming soon. Image credit Victoria Frances
