21st Century Challenges- Food security: feeding the 9 billion

Join us for this unique opportunity to hear from our internationally renowned speakers and put your own questions to them.

Our global food system is under increasing strain. We need to produce and supply enough safe and nutritious food in a sustainable way to a population which is expected to rise to 9 billion by 2050. Climate change, rising food prices, competition for land and water along with changing eating habits are making this increasingly difficult. To meet this challenge, do we need new technology or just new thinking?

Further details will be available shortly at www.21stcenturychallenges.org.
