Concrete and beauty: the architecture of Sir Denys Lasdun

As part of Open House London’s weekend celebration of architecture, leading Lasdun expert Dr Barnabas Calder will give a free talk on the genius of modernist architect Sir Denys Lasdun.

The lecture outlines the life and work of Lasdun and will include the first ever public showing of early designs for the RCP and other important Lasdun projects.

The Royal College of Physicians is open 11am-4pm on Sunday 22 September and in addition to the lecture, you can join a free tour of the building by Barnabas and architectural historian Dr Stewart Abbott. Tours run throughout the day and are bookable on arrival.
