Legality, Humanity, Identity and the Search for Peace in the Middle East

This year's Sir Joseph Hotung International Human Rights Lecture.


Dr Hanan Ashrawi, the renowned Palestinian academic, activist and politician, will be delivering this year's Sir Joseph Hotung International Human Rights Lecture, delivered last year by the late Edward Said. In line with the Sir Joseph Hotung Research Programme in Law, Human Rights and Peace Building in the Middle East's broad aim to promote a greater understanding of the legal dimensions of the relationship between Israel and Palestine, Dr Ashrawi will be talking about 'Legality, Humanity, Identity and the Pursuit of Peace in the Middle East'.
