How Climate Change Might Save the World

We need a new cosmopolitan outlook, in research and politics, capable of grasping the epochal transformations of society and politics set in motion by the global risks of climate change.

Ulrich Beck is professor of sociology at the University of Munich and British Journal of Sociology LSE Centennial Professor in the Department of Sociology.
