From Wild Beasts to Pickled Sharks - Modern Art Movements of the Twentieth Century

Sceptical and humorous look at the often controversial modern art movements of the 20th century.

NADFAS at Night London continues at a secret pop-up location in the heart of Covent Garden. This private club has a distinct 50’s retro feel and our brilliant lectures will take place in the small, intimate theatre.

Linda Collins has lectured for Tate Modern and National Gallery and her brilliant talk ‘From Wild Beasts to Pickled Sharks - Modern Art movements of the 20th Century ’is a sceptical and humorous look at the often controversial modern art movements of the 20th century.

This informative and entertaining lecture is a whistlestop tour that visits Surrealism, Conceptualism, Installation Art and much more. We will take a stroll through the History of Modern Art with works by Picasso, Dali, Jackson Pollock, Rothko, Hirst and Emin to name a few. We finish with some more avant garde works exhibited today both in London and New York.

NADFAS at Night is aimed at anyone with an interest in the arts
