Beneath the Blindfold

An event bringing together experts from the UN, lawyers and activists to speak about the global campaign to eradicate torture.

A screening of the multi-award winning documentary Beneath the Blindfold about the journey of four torture survivors to becoming public advocates for an end to torture and, in doing so, building new lives, careers and relationships.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with three speakers: Malcolm Evans - Chair of the UN sub-Committee on the Prevention of Torture; Lutz Oette - Legal Counsel for Redress, a legal charity working to fight the cases of those who have been tortured; and Rachel Logan from Amnesty International.
