Fundamentalism: the Fear and the Rage

The lecture will focus the reasons for the fear, the threat posed by modernity and the implications for the future.


The speaker,Karen Armstrong, spent seven years as a Roman Catholic nun in the 1960s. In 1969 she left her teaching order to study English Literature at Oxford. In 1982 she became a full time writer and broadcaster.
