An Evening with Ronit Zilkha, Fashion Entrepreneur

Fashion entrepreneur Ronit Zilkha will be sharing insights from her her 25-year career in the fashion industry.


Ronit Zilkha is a Visiting Professor at the University, and will be talking about her 25-year career in the fashion industry. She will give unique insights into the real-life work of being a creative business person, the type of successful entrepreneur the London School of Film, Media and Design at the University of West London is committed to supporting and developing.

Ronit studied fashion design in London, and set up the Ronit Zilkha label in 1990, achieving international recognition and success.

For 15 consecutive years Ronit showcased her collections at London Fashion Week. Her unique designs, including evening and day wear, have been worn by members of the Royal family, celebrities and fashion editors across the world, including Princess Diana, Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet and Twiggy.

Since 2007 she has worked on a variety of projects, extending her womenswear credentials whilst also entering the childrenswear and accessories markets. Her online label Lullilu also supports charities including Plan UK and Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.
