Saturday Evening Lecture Series 2016 - Ben Stewart

Greenpeace activist Ben Stewart talks about his campaign to free the 'Arctic 30'.

Don’t Trust, Don’t Fear, Don’t Beg

When a peaceful Greenpeace protest against oil drilling in the Arctic ended with 30 activists being incarcerated in a jail in Russia, it sparked an intense campaign to bring the protestors home. In this lecture Ben Stewart, who led the campaign, tells the startling record of the protestors' experiences in jail and how the events unfolded.

There will be a drinks reception following the lecture where Ben will also be signing copies of his book 'Don't Trust, Don't Fear, Don't Beg'.
