TIGE Talk: The Third Force awakens

An event that will look at the importance of relationships, particularly in business.

Every so often humankind discovers something that changes its understanding of reality and the way it responds to it. Think, for instance, of the fact that ‘gravitational waves’ exist as a ‘third force’, which has huge implications for our understanding of the universe.

For a long time success and happiness in human affairs were measured by financial parameters--income and profit—and, more recently, the environment. But what if relationships are the ‘centre force’ of the world’s affairs? If that is true, what are the implications? Relational Thinking can be described as a ‘third force’ in the social universe. Dr Michael Schluter and Ms Marjon Busstra will explain the significance of this discovery, especially for companies and public sector organizations. They will explore, with the audience, how this changes our understanding of reality, and how this can change our response to the challenges our world is facing today.
