Robert Adam's London: Beyond the Domestic Sphere

Join Dr Frances Sands, curator of the exhibition Robert Adam’s London, as she explores Adam’s forgotten work in the capital.

Join Dr Frances Sands, curator of the exhibition Robert Adam’s London, as she explores Adam’s forgotten work in the capital - from opera houses and theatres, to banks, hospitals and prisons.

Discover Robert Adam's little-known work in London.
Robert Adam is famed for his work at grand country houses such as Osterley Park, Kedleston Hall and Culzean Castle, but his vast corpus spans the breadth of Britain’s geography and social strata. Some of his most fascinating projects are those that are not widely known, and many were not houses but public buildings.
Join Dr Frances Sands, curator of the exhibition Robert Adam’s London, as she explores Adam’s forgotten work in the capital - from opera houses and theatres, to banks, hospitals and prisons. Guests will be able to enjoy a drink on arrival and a private view of the exhibition Robert Adam’s London (30 November 2016 - 11 March 2017).
