Coton de Tulear, Madagascar's National Dog

This evening we will learn about Madagascar's national dog, the Coton de Tulear.

This evening we will learn about Madagascar's national dog, the Coton de Tulear. Most exciting of all, not only will we be hearing from Coton owners Cathy Clarke and Donna Kurtz, you will also get to meet Buddy Holly, a Coton de Tulear himself! We will learn more about the breed, its fascinating history in connection with Madagascar, and a little about the work of the Coton Club of the UK. We are excited to welcome Buddy who, as far as we know, is the first official canine guest of the society in its 56-year history!
The event will include the usual tasty Malagasy buffet dinner and open bar (all included in the ticket price) as well as a little celebration of Madagascar's Independence Day. There will be a chance to chat with the speakers (and Buddy!) and mingle with others to chat about Madagascar before and after the talk.
