PJP - Aquada

Peterborough Joint Panel present - THE ‘AQUADA’ HIGH PERFORMANCE AMPHIBIOUS CAR. A talk by Mike Giles,Chief Engineer,Gibbs Technologies

Following seven years of development work, Gibbs Technologies are now manufacturing their amphibious car, which is the first high performance production road vehicle to be able to plane on water like a speed boat. The presentation will chart the development process, in particular highlighting the technologies and novel designs applied to resolve the inevitable conflicts arising during the design of a vehicle required to perform well on both land and water.
