Face to Face

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

How much can we read in another person’s face? What do an animal’s facial expressions tell us? Join a free evening discussion linked to the opening of our new exhibition Face to Face.

Faces are one of the first things we learn to recognise. By looking into someone else’s face we can try to understand how they feel or even what it’s like to be them. Join a free evening discussion linked to the opening of our new exhibition Face to Face, featuring photographer James Mollison’s stunning images of apes. How much can we read in another person’s face? What do an animal’s facial expressions tell us? Why are the faces of others so fascinating and how do they influence the way we feel and behave?
