In Conversation - The Architecture of Craft

A discussion between artists Lawson Oyekan and Taslim Martin about the use of architectural space in creating their large-scale ceramic works


In Conversation – The Architecture of Craft is a discussion between Lawson Oyekan and Taslim Martin who are currently exhibiting at the Crafts Council's exhibition Mixed Belongings: Eight Contemporary African Makers. They will discuss the use of architectural space in creating their large-scale ceramic works. The discussion takes place on 23 June 5.30pm and is chaired by Jeremy Hunt, Editor of Art & Architecture Journal and is part of Architecture Week (June 17 – 26 2005).
