The Interactive Museum - Projects and Trends

A three day conference to raise awareness of learning trends in European museums and historic sites.

There will be four main conference themes: Museum learning theory, Museum development, Interactivity and Creativity, with speakers from the U.K., Iceland, Denmark, Germany, Sweden and the Czech Republic. Delegates will be able to make international contacts with museum learning experts and discuss their own work with an international audience. The conference is part of the year-long ‘City of Time’ project (http://expozice.sternberk.cz/) organised by the Czech city of Sternberk, which also includes a travelling exhibition, exchange visits and the development of a new museum of clocks and time in Sternberk. The project partner towns are Lorsch and Kungsbacka (Sweden), with input from the British museum learning specialists, White Rook Consultancy.
