Bogolan explained

Join Malian artist, Kader Keita, for an introduction to mudcloth art

Bogolan textile art was once solely in the domain of Mali’s traditional secret societies and hunters’ associations. Now it is a marker of Afro-chic and diaspora identity. Kader Keita, a young Malian mudcloth artist shows examples of the work and explains the traditional symbols on the cloth which often relate to spiritual and community well-being.
