Fragonard

Lecturer: Colin Harrison, Assistant Keeper at the Ashmolean Museum


Colin Harrison, Assistant Keeper at the Ashmolean Museum, will explore Fragonard's creative process, from preliminary sketch to finished work. He will also discuss his drawings, both as studies for paintings and as independent works, as well as the relationship between Fragonard's canvases and the engravings made after them.
