Persepolis: new perspectives lecture with film screening

David Stronach, University of California, discusses the diversity and complexity of Persepolis. Followed by the computer generated film, Persepolis - a recontruction.


David Stronach, University of California, Berkeley, talks about Persepolis as a complex reflection of the diverse strands of Persian identity in the light of new debates and archaeological discoveries. Followed by Persepolis – a reconstruction (Director, Goetz Balonier, Germany 2005, 60 mins), a documentary which uses the latest computer technology for a virtual reconstruction.
