Creating Brains: the science of genius

“One is not born a genius, one becomes a genius,” Simone de Beauvoir once claimed. But, where does creativity come from, and can anybody become creative? Michelangelo was a stonecutter's son and Shakespeare the son of a middleclass businessman, so perhaps everybody has the potential to push their personal boundaries. This event will bring together experts to discuss the science of genius.
