Open to All - Get In-to-Net Art

An informal drop-in session where visitors can take part in an experimental night of art, challenging notions of corporate or creative ownership and control in online culture. Leading net artist, Andy Deck, will get visitors interacting with his large-scale digital graffiti wall, where marks made by each person combine with others over time. At 19.00 Andy Deck will give a talk on his ‘art software’ - public art for the Internet - which he has been making since 1990. Get In-to-Net Art is a collaboration with HTTP Gallery where Andy Deck’s first solo British exhibition opens on March 9th. This event is part of NODE.London - a month-long season of media art projects across different arts, science and entertainment venues across London.
