Black Artists in Britain: the Pioneers

You are invited to explore new directions in British art!


A lecture celebrating the work of artists from Africa, the West Indies and the Americas, who were working in Britain beween the 1930s and 1950s. Among these "pioneers" were the Jamaican sculptor Ronald Moody and the Guyanese painter Aubrey Williams.
