Wedding Belles

Step back in time to 1871 to discover the different aspirations of a rich and a poor bride.

This talk and presentation comes from Century Adventures Living History Theatre (creators of 'Undressing Mr Darcy').
Step back in time to 1871 to discover the different aspirations of a rich and a poor bride.

The event draws on contemporary letters, newspapers and etiquette guides to tell the truth about the Victorian battle between romance and real life, learning about Victorian wedding customs, and of course, admiring the bridal finery.
