Dog behaviour day with Peter Neville

The workshop will begin with the behavioural processes and impacts of domestication on the dog and emotional development of the individual. Then there will be an introduction into how to approach understanding behavioural problems, including some case histories.

The EMRA approach: emotion, mood and reinforcement assessment considers the individuality and emotionality of the animal and thus represents a new way of thinking in the field of pet behaviour.
Peter Neville DHc BSc(Hons) has been in practice for the referral and treatment of behaviour problems in cats and dogs for more than 17 years. He is a frequent media broadcaster, public speaker and regular feature writer in magazines Dogs Today and Your Cat. He is the Director of CoAPE and leads regular safaris to study wolves in Germany and the Czech Republic and to South Africa focussing on African wild dogs, cheetah, lions and elephants.
The workshop will be fascinating for pet owners, trainers, fellow animal behaviourists, people involved with rescue centres, dog wardens, veterinary personnel and anyone with an interest in animal behaviour.
