'Cemented by the blood of a slave': the impact of the slave trade on 18th century Liverpool

Dr Jane Longmore, Head of the School of Humanities at the University of Greenwich, will discuss the connection between the development of Liverpool in the late 17th and 18th centuries and the slave trade and its abolition.
