A Fine Romance

Part of the Arts Week 2007 celebrations at Queen Mary, University of London


Astaire and Rogers formed one of the great screen partnerships of the Hollywood Musical. Singing and dancing to the wonderful music of Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and Kerome Kern, they have provided audiences from the 1930s to the present day with the stuff of dreams, romance and fantasy.
