Adieu Derrida

Book launch and discussion with Bernard Steigler Director of Cultural Development, Pompidou Centre inspired by the edited collection of lectures given by the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities addressing Jacques Derrida.


Bernard Steigler, Director of the Department of Cultural Development at the Centre Georges-Pompidou, in conversation at the launch of this edited collection of lectures originally presented in 2005 by the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities in which intellectuals and friends address Jacques Derrida. Contributors to the book include: Alain Badiou, Etienne Balibar, Drucilla Cornell, Costas Douzinas, J Hillis Miller, Jean-Luc Nancy, Jacques Rancière, Gayatri Spivak, Slavoj Zizek. The book will be available at half price on the night. The talk is free and open to all.
