COMMUNICATE 07 - Going Mainstream

The UK’s only conference for professional communicators in the environmental and conservation field attracting delegates from local, national and international organisations.

Communicate 07 - Bristol, 18-19 October 2007

Going mainstream.

Environmental matters are now top of the political and public agenda. This is an extraordinary achievement, but many suggest the next 10 years are the most critical yet. It will decide our future and much of the life of our planet. Where should professional communicators now focus? How are conservationists dealing with going mainstream? Are we rising to the challenge? Today, politicians and business managers use the rhetoric of the environmental movement – where does that leave the pressure groups and NGO's? What should be our priorities now and how can you most effectively make your message heard?
