A fresh perspective on the Continental Navy's John Paul Jones

Joseph Callo, Rt. Rear Admiral discusses John Paul Jones

Rear Admiral Joseph Callo, USNR (Ret.) will discuss his latest book: John Paul Jones: America’s First Sea Warrior. This award winning work has been described as a “penetrating new look at Jones, examining several lesser know aspects of his naval career, including his relationship with Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson and the Russian Navy of Catherine the Great.”

Recipient of the Samuel Eliot Morison Award for naval literature, Admiral Callo also is a Naval History Magazine Author of the Year.
