British Art Talks: Political Art

British Art Talks is an on-going series that explores contemporary art practice.

Tonight, we welcome Phil Collins, who explores ideas of personal and cultural identity through his acclaimed photographic and video work; Susan Philipsz, a performance and installation artist who has really tested the boundaries of gender and identity politics; and David Burrows whose wit and humour have led to many critiques on the social and economic forces at work in the art world. This event will explore the idea of the political and ask what it might mean to be a political artist in the contemporary art world.
