Shoe Lane: monks, murder and mummery

A lunchtime local history lecture presented by the staff of the Guildhall Library.


Poets, poison, pubs and printers…an illustrated talk on the hidden history of the Shoe Lane area. Shoe Lane is short street in the City of London with a long history; its modern route now runs from Fleet Street to High Holborn.
