ANCIENT WISDOM: THE FUTURE OF SOUND HEALING

John and Annalise Reid present a fascinating exploration of resonance and its use as a healing tool in ancient times

John and Annaliese Reid

ANCIENT WISDOM: THE FUTURE OF SOUND HEALING

Between them John and Annaliese Reid have more than sixty years experience in the field of acoustic research and sound healing.

In 1997 John Reid carried out a unique series of acoustics experiments in the Great Pyramid of Egypt. Prior to the research mission he seriously injured his lower back resulting in severe pain. With the aid of painkillers John somehow managed to crawl into the pyramid and set up the experiment. Within half an hour of beginning to make sound in the King's Chamber all the pain in his back left him and it never came back. John's search for an answer to what happened that day led him to delve deep into the world of sound healing.

This talk will cover a detailed description of John's experience in the Great Pyramid, including identification of what he believes is the underlying healing mechanism responsible for his lower back healing. Annaliese will also talk about how the Aboriginals of Australia use their yidaki (didgeridoo) instruments to heal broken bones and other ailments.
