A logo for London – 100 years of design excellence

Oliver Green, London Transport Museum’s Head Curator, talks about one of the most successful and enduring logos of all time.


A century after the iconic symbol for London’s transport system was created, the cross bar and circle ‘roundel’ is recognised throughout the world. Oliver Green, London Transport Museum’s Head Curator, will talk about one of the most successful and enduring logos of all time. Oliver will also give a brief overview of the Museum’s forthcoming new temporary exhibition, ‘The art of the poster – a century of art and design’, which opens to the public in October 2008.
