Discussion of the challenges faced by The British Museum in displaying objects from Ancient Egypt

Curator Richard Parkinson will talk about the challenges faced by the Museum in its ten year project to study and redisplay some of the most famous works of art to survive from Ancient Egypt, ranging from archival and archaeological research through to the practical problems, of installing these fragile masterpieces in a gallery to evoke their original context and function.
