Fireside Chats: Another Great Depression? Reflections on the world crisis

The Fireside Chats invite experts at the cutting edge of their field to offer unique insight into some of the most fascinating and challenging issues of the day.

The inaugural Fireside Chat “Another Great Depression? Reflections on the world crisis” will be given by Michael Cox, Professor of International Relations at the LSE, Associate Research Fellow of Chatham House and Director of LSE IDEAS, the centre for diplomacy and strategy at LSE. A highly experienced international lecturer, he has spoken worldwide over the last twenty years on a range of contemporary global issues,
recently focusing on US foreign policy, the Transatlantic relationship, & the role of the
United States in the international economy. He is the author, editor and co-editor
of over twenty books and innumerable articles on international affairs.
