Venetia Porter, British Museum, Hammad Nasar and Sadegh Tirafkan discuss the display Safavids Revisited in The John Addis Gallery, The Islamic World (Room 34). They will highlight the enduring power of the arts of the Safavids and the Persian miniature, and explore how artists create works inspired by the style and themes expressed within them, lending them new resonances in today's world.
