Keats, Kipling, Daemons and Negative Capability

John Walker explores Keats's inspiration and Kipling's response to his poetry.

Starting from Kipling's own short story 'Wireless', first published in 1902, John Walker, Honorary Librarian of the Kipling Society, will explore the theme of inspiration, and the processes which allowed - or forced - Keats to produce lines of which Kipling said 'These are the pure Magic. These are the clear Vision. The rest is only poetry.'
