Professor John Hoffman will talk on Marxism in the post liberal age. He explores the recent crisis within both Marxism and Capitalism, the changing role of the nation state and work, and suggests that contrary to the received wisdom that the days of neo-liberalism are numbered. The future belongs to Marx.
Professor John Hoffman is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of politics and International Relations at the University of Leicester.
