The Road to Resilience

Building optimism in adults and children, with Rudi Dallos, Professor of Clinical Psychology and Programme Director of the School of Applied Psychosocial Sciences, University of Plymouth.

Rudi’s research interests include family and couple dynamics and therapy, and narrative and attachment theory. He is a consultant to family therapy services in the UK and abroad. In this lecture he will discuss how families and relationships matter in the creation and maintenance of happiness, and how therapeutic interventions can help in a range of settings.

The morning is relevant to everyone who works with resilience and relationships, whether as teachers, lecturers, social and health workers, probation officers, counsellors or psychotherapists.
