The Last Civilisation? The Living Past in South India - Illustrated Lecture by Michael Wood and Ind

Broadcaster Michael Wood will describe the Tamil world as the last classical civilisation to survive in the modern world.


In aid of Jeevika Trust (registered charity no. 291167), in this lavishly illustrated lecture - which is also accompanied by a DVD clip - writer and presenter of many critically acclaimed series on television, Michael Wood will take us on a journey of discovery through the tropical landscapes of India's deep south, describing the Tamil world as the last classical civilisation to survive in the modern world.

Our exclusive Bazaar, will include a range of boutiques, artists, travel companies and restaurants covering a range of luxury Indian items. All of our stall holders are personally selected for their quality items, handpicked from India and will generously donate 10% of all of their takings from this event.
