Watts Symposium: Mary Watts's Cemetery Chapel

Day Two of the 2010 Watts Symposium focusing upon Mary Watts's pioneering Cemetery Chapel for the village of Compton, Surrey.


Having explored artists who have been inspired to decorate sacred spaces on Day One of the 2010 Watts Symposium, the event now moves to Compton, Surrey, to tell the story of Mary Watts and the evolution of the Chapel, exploring its construction, decoration and the meaning behind its intricate symbolism. Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a guided visit to the Chapel.
